Mykolaiv gymnast Valeriia Peremeta and two other gymnasts, Taisiia Onofriichuk and Kira Shyrykina, have been awarded international master of sports certificates.

The certificates were presented by the Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine Matvii Bidnyi, the official website says.

«These girls are true ambassadors of the strength of spirit, grace and indomitability of Ukrainian sport. Their victories are the result of their daily work, faith in their own strength and dedication. I am proud of each of them and believe that this is just the beginning of a long journey on the international sports Olympus», said Matvii Bidnyi.

Valeriia Peremeta is a pupil of the Mykolaiv Integrated Children and Youth Sports School «Peremoha», a representative of the national rhythmic gymnastics team, who recently became a silver medallist at the third stage of the Grand Prix in France, winning team «silver» together with her teammates.

According to the order of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, three Mykolaiv athletes received the highest sports titles: «Master of Sports of Ukraine of International Class» and «Master of Sports of Ukraine». It is noted that rhythmic gymnast Valeria Peremeta was awarded the title of «Master of Sports of Ukraine of International Class» in Olympic sports. The reason for the award is her seventh place at the 2024 Olympic Games. The athlete is coached by Iryna Deriuhina, Marina Kardash and Iryna Huseva.
