NYT: Every month, Ukraine mobilizes up to 30 thousand people

Ukraine is increasing the pace of mobilization, conscripting up to 30,000 people into the ranks of the Defense Forces every month.

The publication's sources note that the mobilization has not yet led to a significant strengthening of Ukrainian forces on the battlefield.

Many conscripts are still completing the training process and have not yet arrived at the front. And some new recruits who arrived are physically unfit for combat, members of the Ukrainian units note. The Ukrainian authorities are also conducting a certain dialogue with Moldova regarding the return of Ukrainian citizens of military age who have gone abroad.
