A day in the Mykolaiv region: air defense forces destroyed eight Shahed drones, the occupiers shelled the region three times

On June 5, the occupiers shelled Ochakiv and the Kutsurub community three times, and on the night of June 6, Ukrainian soldiers shot down eight Shahed drones in the sky over Mykolaiv Oblast.

This was announced by the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration.

The occupiers shelled the Kutsurub community with artillery on June 5 at 1:49 p.m. There are no casualties.

On the same day, at 19:37 and 20:24, the enemy fired from the Ochakiv artery of the Ochakiv community. As a result of one of the shellings, a multi-story residential building was damaged. There are no casualties.

In total, on the night of June 6, Ukrainian defenders destroyed 17 Shaheds, most of them over the Mykolaiv Oblast. The rest are in Kherson, Zaporizhzhia and Khmelnytskyi regions.

«On the night of June 6, eight Shahed 131/136 type unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed by the forces and means of air defense in the Mykolaiv region,» the message reads.

We will remind you that on the night of June 5, the wreckage of a downed enemy UAV of the «Shahed 131/136» type completely destroyed a private house on the territory of the summer cottage cooperative of the Bug community in the Mykolaiv region.
