In the Ship district of Mykolaiv, they are going to repair a high-rise building that was destroyed by a Russian missile in the fall of 2022. The work is estimated at 15.6 million hryvnias.

It is about a residential building at Yantarna Street, 67. The Russian shelling of the high-rise building took place on the night of September 14, 2022.

The client of works on the reconstruction of a multi-storey residential building is the Department of Housing and Communal Services of the Mykolaiv City Council. The contractor must restore the building by April 1, 2025 and perform, namely: perform work on supporting building structures, repair cracks and floor slabs, restore 1-10 floors of the building, install windows, doors, repair walls and floors. Also, the contractor must repair kitchens, living rooms, corridors, bathrooms, do facade work and repair the roof of the house.

For people with reduced mobility, the contractor must install a lifting platform with a load capacity of 500 kilograms and a vertical lift. In addition, the building should be equipped with electrical equipment, install lightning protection, and make a gas supply. And also — repair the road near the house, put up markings, improve the territory, install garbage cans and benches.

Currently, the process of submitting offers from future participants is ongoing, the contractor will be chosen after June 14.

What about the restoration of houses in Mykolaiv?

In 2024, 45 million hryvnias are planned to be spent on the restoration of damaged or destroyed apartment buildings from the budget of Mykolaiv, whereas in 2023, 40 million hryvnias were allocated for this purpose.

The first high-rise building damaged by shelling in Mykolaiv began to be restored at the expense of the city budget in July 2023. We are talking about the house on Krylova, which was hit by a Russian missile in the summer of 2022.

At the end of the year, the housing and communal services department of the Mykolaiv City Council reported that in 2023, four residential apartment buildings that were damaged as a result of shelling by Russian troops were overhauled.

After that, the Department of Housing and Housing announced a tender for the restoration of a five-story building in the center of Mykolaiv, which was destroyed by a Russian missile in the fall of 2022. Subsequently, NikVesti showed how the process of its restoration continues.

And in April 2024, the Housing and Social Services Department announced another tender for the capital repair of a high-rise building at 132 Kosmonavtiv Street in Mykolaiv. Three more houses awaiting reconstruction are houses at 2 Alyuda, 61 Raiduzhna, and 142 B Kosmonavtiv. And in May 2024, the Department of Housing and Housing announced a tender for the restoration of the house on Samoilovicha Street, 8A.

At the same time, the city council supported the allocation of funds from the budget of Mykolaiv for the technical inspection of private houses affected by the war.
