«Radio Liberty» announced the launch of a new program «De-occupied History» as part of the «News of the Azov Region» project.

This is reported by Radio Liberty.

It is noted that journalist and presenter Oleksandr Yankovskyi, together with invited experts, historians and local experts, will analyze Russian myths related to the history of southern Ukraine, as well as tell the true history of cities and towns of the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions.

Historian, publicist and ex-media manager Oleksiy Mustafin became the first guest of the «De-Occupied History» program. He spoke about the oldest cities of Ukraine, in particular, about the founders of Odessa and Kherson, as well as about historical monuments in the southern territories of the country.

You can watch episodes of «De-occupied History» three times a week — on Saturday, Sunday and Monday on the YouTube channel of the «News of Azov» project, on the «Radio Svoboda» website, and also listen on «Public Radio».

We will remind that in Snihurivka in the Mykolaiv Region, which was under Russian occupation from March to November, the Russians distributed a clone of the well-known regional newspaper «Native Prybuzhzhia».
