It should be noted that a tender for the building’s renovation was already held in 2024. The private company «Demsai» was selected as the contractor to carry out the work. The project cost 18.7 million hryvnias.
For this sum, the company was to carry out demolition work, reinforce the walls and renovate the premises, including the installation of new windows and doors. In addition, the tender documentation provided for the installation of utilities, heating and alarm systems. A separate item involved the installation of a lift with a load capacity of up to 250 kilograms. The project also included works to improve the surrounding area.
The new tender was published on 14 April. The estimated cost of the works is 25 million 33 thousand hryvnias.
Under the terms of the contract, the contractor will be required to dismantle the old structures, reinforce and lay the foundations. Following this, a terrace is to be built. The construction of a second floor and the installation of a roof are also planned.
All work must be completed by 31 December 2027.
The DREAM digital system states that the creation of such a space is intended to serve as a platform for the development of entrepreneurship, innovation and creative initiatives, bringing together resources, experts and opportunities for learning and collaboration.
The future hub is set to feature a contemporary art gallery, a podcast recording studio, a graphic design school, a lithography workshop, a lecture hall, a co-working space and a community bakery. Particular attention is to be paid to involving young people in the processes of community regeneration and development.
The boiler house, built in 1975, is in need of a major refurbishment. The project involves reinforcing the foundations and walls, insulation, replacing windows and doors, and installing utility networks.
The ground floor is planned to house a lobby, an assembly hall, a café, technical rooms and toilets. The first floor will be dedicated to an open gallery, classrooms and administrative offices.
Paving will also be laid around the building, a wooden terrace will be constructed, and the area will be landscaped.
As a reminder, the surgical ward at the hospital in Voznesensk will be temporarily closed for renovation. The ward is expected to be out of service for 2–3 weeks. Patients will be redirected to Pivdennoukrainsk.
