«I would like to draw the attention of the city authorities to the dilapidated state of the football pitch located in the courtyard of the buildings at 60, 60a and 64 Okeanivska Street. The pitch’s fence is damaged: one section has been torn out and lies on the ground, the gates have been ripped from their mountings, and metal bars and reinforcement are sticking out. This poses a real danger to children who play football here every day and simply run around the pitch. In this condition, someone could be seriously injured at any moment,» the woman wrote.

She also drew attention to the surface of the sports ground: «It is essentially just soil and gravel, which is neither safe nor suitable for children’s games».

The woman asked the local authorities to urgently remove the dangerous elements and repair the fence, as well as, if possible, consider installing modern, safe surfacing for the sports ground.

«I really want there to be a safe and proper place for children to play in the courtyard. Thank you!» she added.

Her appeal has been registered under number 65081 and has now been forwarded for action.

As a reminder, residents of Mykolaiv are complaining about the neglected state of the park on 9th Pozdovzhnia Street and are asking the authorities to take action.
