Readers of the NikVesti publication complained about the low temperature in the premises of Primary Health Care Centre №7 in Mykolaiv. According to them, doctors see patients in cold rooms.

As readers reported in comments to a publication about heating problems in the city, this concerns a family clinic located on the first floor of the building at 340/2 Bohoiavlenskyi Avenue.

«There is a family clinic on the first floor of this building, and doctors have to examine patients in cold rooms,» wrote one reader.

The city health department explained that the medical facility does not have a separate heating system. According to the head of the department, Iryna Shamrai, the temperature in the clinic directly depends on the heating of the residential building in which it is located.

«The clinic is located on the first floor of a nine-storey residential building. There is no separate heating for the clinic — it is heated in the same way as the residential complex,» Iryna Shamrai said in a comment to NikVesti.

She also reported that the health department had not received any official appeals or complaints regarding the heating situation in medical facilities throughout the city.

At the same time, according to the head of the department, the city's medical facilities are equipped with heaters and 220 backup power sources.

«If they give two hours of light a day, then most likely it is impossible to heat... Heating devices have been distributed in hospitals. They are available in every facility. These are devices that are hung on the wall. But today, if electricity is limited, then of course they cannot heat,» explained Iryna Shamrai.

Earlier it was reported that in Mykolaiv, during power outages , heating problems were recorded in about 25 of the 1,324 buildings managed by the regional heating company.

Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy Denys Shmyhal stated that the energy situation in the country remains difficult and there are risks of worsening power outage schedules.
