Dmytro Danylenko, a former employee of the Mykolaiv Thermal Power Plant, has been appointed the new head of the municipal enterprise Mykolaivpastrans.

He was personally introduced to the staff today, 29 January, by Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych.

As the mayor noted, he has over 20 years of experience in the transport sector.

The contract with him was signed for six months, during which he must show results and changes in the work of the municipal enterprise, as the mayor emphasises.

«I would like to note that the contract was signed for six months. During this time, Mr Dmytro must show concrete results and changes in the work of the enterprise. After that, we will draw conclusions and make decisions regarding further cooperation. There is a lot of work to be done, and it must be visible to the people,» writes the mayor.

Dmytro Danylenko is a native of Donetsk. Since 2023, he has worked at the Mykolaiv CHPP as the head of the transport department. Prior to that, he held a similar position in Mariupol.

According to his 2025 declaration, his salary was 1.2 million hryvnias, which amounted to more than 101,000 hryvnias per month.

Since 1998, he has owned an apartment in Donetsk and a Mazda CX-5 car. Last year, his wife bought a 126-square-metre apartment in Mykolaiv for 1.6 million hryvnias. The declaration also states that in 2025 she acquired the right to own a garage in Mariupol, which is currently occupied.

The official stated that he has $60,000 in cash.

It should be noted that the mayor did not renew the contract with the previous head of the pastran, Dmytro Teslenko. The former official stated that his dismissal was influenced by a prolonged lack of communication with the mayor, Oleksandr Sienkevych.
