American actress and director Angelina Jolie did not warn the Ukrainian side of her arrival.

This was reported by Politico, citing its own sources.

According to them, Angelina Jolie secretly crossed the border with Ukraine on foot. One of the Ukrainian officials confirmed that an incident occurred at one of the checkpoints with representatives of the TCC, who detained her bodyguard.

At the same time, the Land Forces told Politico that they could not confirm or deny the information.

«The information disseminated in the media is distorted, an investigation is underway and all the circumstances are being clarified», they said.

Earlier, NikVesti reported that the motorcade of Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie was stopped by employees of the territorial recruitment centre during her visit to Mykolaiv. A video of her in the Voznesensk district recruitment centre was posted on social media.

In addition, the police in Pivdenoukrainsk are checking how the video from the recruitment centre with Angelina Jolie ended up on social media.

Later, it became known that the man who was detained by the TRC during Angelina Jolie's visit to Mykolaiv was a reserve officer and had no confirmed grounds for deferring mobilisation. The incident occurred on 4 November while checking people's documents at a checkpoint near Pivdenoukrainsk.
