The number of raiding cases in Ukraine has decreased by more than three times in four years

In the first 8 months of 2025, 168 cases of raiding were opened in Ukraine. This is 36% less than in the same period last year.
This is evidenced by analytical data from Opendatabot, according to «NikVesti ».
Last year, an average of 33 such cases were opened per month, and this year - 21. Over the past four years, the number of raiding cases has decreased by 3.4 times.
Most proceedings relate to forgery of documents (Article 205-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). This year, 134 such cases were opened — 80% of all cases. Suspicion was served in 62 cases, and 53 went to court, or 40%.
There were 23 cases registered for obstructing the work of enterprises (Article 206 of the Criminal Code), which is 42% less than last year. There were no suspicions or trials in these cases. Another 11 cases were opened for the illegal seizure of company property (Article 206-2 of the Criminal Code), which is more than half as many as last year. Suspicion was served in only one case, and the case did not go to court.
During this time, the Office for Combating Raiding considered 830 appeals from victims, which is 40% less than last year.
The most common complaints concerned real estate — 676 cases (81%), and another 154 concerned business. At the same time, complaints about the illegal seizure of real estate decreased by 43%, and those about business by 15%.
While in 2024 most complaints came from companies, this year the situation has changed. In 2025, half of the complaints were filed by citizens (411). Businesses filed 232 complaints (28%) and local authorities 162 (20%). The rest of the complaints were filed by government agencies and registrars.
The majority of complaints (818 out of 830) were reviewed by a panel. Of these, 247 were upheld (30%), 243 were rejected (30%), and 328 were left without consideration (40%). Another 10 business complaints and 2 real estate complaints were resolved by single decisions.
