The Odesa branch of the State Enterprise «of the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority» has announced a tender for the reconstruction of berth 7 of the Odesa seaport for almost 540 million hryvnias.
This is according to the ProZorro public procurement system, according to NikVesti.
The total length of the berth is 357.45 metres. Its repair began in 2018. This procurement involves adjustments to the project developed in 2024.
The tender was announced on 12 August 2025. Proposals from participants will be accepted until 28 August, and the auction is scheduled for 29 August.
The works are scheduled to be completed by 31 December 2027. The estimated cost of the works is 539,878,678 hryvnias.
The minimum price reduction step during the bidding process is 1% (5.39 million hryvnias). The contracting authority does not require a bid security, but the winner must pay a cash deposit of 5% of the contract amount as a guarantee of contract performance. The deposit will be returned upon full completion of the works or in case of early termination of the contract without violations by the contractor.
The payment is to be made in several stages: up to 30% of the cost is to be paid in advance through documentary letters of credit (three stages of up to 10% each), and the rest is to be paid after signing the completion certificates and certificates of value.
According to the tender documentation, the reconstruction of berth 7 will involve the installation of a metal sheet pile, laying new railway tracks and renewing the pavement. Reinforced concrete slabs will be used in the crane area and shaped tiles in the storage areas. An unloading platform on metal piles will also be built.
The berth will be equipped with water supply, rainwater drainage, power supply, grounding, communication systems, video surveillance and fire protection.
As a reminder, the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine and the concessionaire have started working on the project to make the Kherson port operational after the end of hostilities.
