Two boys aged 17 and 18, as well as an 18-year-old girl, have been returned to the government-controlled territory of Ukraine from the temporarily occupied part of Kherson region.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.
He noted that all of them are now safe, receive the necessary assistance and are striving to get a Ukrainian education.
«I am extremely grateful to each and every person who saves our citizens from the Russian occupation,» Prokudin wrote.
The return of the children was made possible thanks to the initiative of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy «Bring Kids Back UA» and the NGO «Helping to Leave».
As a reminder, the Ukrainian humanitarian programme Bring Kids Back UA has already managed to return 1359 children who were illegally deported by Russia to Ukraine.
