Finland is preparing the 29th military aid package for Ukraine, worth approximately €143 million. It is to be officially approved by the government and the president in the near future.

This was reported by the Finnish Ministry of Defence.

The new package will include supplies ordered under the support programme for Ukraine, which the Finnish Ministry of Defence launched in the spring of 2025. Under this programme, the state cooperates with national defence manufacturers, focusing on the most urgent needs of the Armed Forces and the technical capabilities of companies.

For security reasons, the content and exact timing of the transfer are not disclosed. At the same time, the Finnish Ministry of Defence noted that the support is based on both Ukraine's requests and the resources of the Finnish Armed Forces.

The total amount of military assistance from Finland since the beginning of the full-scale war has already reached 2.8 billion euros.

Earlier, Finland signed an agreement with the European Commission to supply Ukraine with heavy ammunition. They will be purchased from Finnish manufacturers, and funding for €90 million will come from the proceeds of frozen Russian assets through the European Peace Fund (EPF).
