The bad weather left 32 settlements without power. Illustrative photo: UNIANDue to rain and strong winds, on the morning of 26 May, power went out in 32 settlements in two regions of Ukraine.
This was reported by the press service of «Ukrenergo».
Power engineers are already working to restore power supply. It is planned that all subscribers will be reconnected to the grid by the end of the day.
It is also noted that electricity consumption has increased by almost 8% compared to the previous business day. The reason is cloudy, rainy weather, which makes solar panels produce less electricity and Ukrainians use more electrical appliances.
Power engineers remind that the system is still recovering from massive Russian attacks. Restoration works at power facilities are ongoing.
As a reminder, today, 27 May, a number of streets in Mykolaiv will be left without electricity supply due to scheduled works.
