Zelenskyy: Russia is not ready for a ceasefire, pressure from all sides is needed

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Russia has not yet demonstrated its readiness to end the war, so it is necessary to increase pressure.
He said this during a video address.
«Unfortunately, the Russians do not give any signals of a ceasefire, and they are not yet ready to end the war,» Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
He also stressed that Ukraine and its partners should continue to put pressure on Russia — military, economic and political.
The President also said that Defence Minister Rustem Umerov had reported on the work with partners on new arms supplies. In addition, investments in domestic arms production are being attracted.
Earlier, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine was not afraid of direct talks with Russia and was ready for a meeting at the level of leaders to resolve key issues. He stressed that Russia should not prolong the war.
