This was reported by the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.
It is noted that the dismantling of the educational institution is being carried out with the support of international partners and is the first step towards the construction of a new school. Currently, children in the Shyroke community are studying in a temporary educational space.
The debris is being cleared and the area is being prepared for the construction of a modern school with the support of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The report also notes that this process is an important step in the restoration of a full-fledged educational environment in the community.
Serhii Peresunko, the village head of the Shyroke community, stressed that despite the enemy's attempts to break the community, people are uniting, returning home, and the number of children in school is growing.
«The Russians wanted to break us, but they have not succeeded and will not succeed. We see the community uniting, people returning home and the number of children in school growing. When the new school is built, I am sure that even more families will return home», said Peresunko.
