The Voznesensk community needs to arrange 70 shelters of various types and 27 more mobile shelters.

This is stated in the draft decision of the executive committee of the Voznesensk City Council.

Voznesensk needs different types of shelters to protect the population. It is necessary to equip one class A-IV facility that can accommodate 500 people. There is also a need for 48 Group P-1 shelters for 11,955 people and 14 Group P-4 shelters that can protect 3,607 people.

In the village of Rakove, there is a need for three P-4 group protective structures with the capacity to shelter 557 people.

In Novohryhorivka, four P-5 structures need to be arranged to protect 767 people.

In addition to stationary shelters, the community needs mobile shelters that can be quickly deployed in case of a threat. Voznesensk needs 25 such shelters for 625 people, and the villages of Rakove and Novohryhorivka need one each for 25 people.

Note: Shelter classes indicate the level of protection. A-IV are the most reliable shelters with air purification systems designed for critical facilities. P-1 is a shelter for employees who must remain at work during an emergency. P-4 is a simple shelter, usually in basements, for temporary protection of the population. P-5 is the simplest shelter that provides a minimum level of security.

As a reminder, two regional hospitals in Mykolaiv are undergoing construction of protective structures. The cost of the work was 145 million hryvnias, partially funded from the state budget.
