Ukrainian Armed Forces attack Russian airfield where aircraft were serviced for attacks on Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions

Attack on the airfield «Prymorsko-Akhtarskyi» in Krasnodar Krai, Russia, photo: General Staff of the Armed Forces of UkraineUnits of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, together with other components of the Defence Forces, attacked the airfield «Prymorsko-Akhtarskyi» in the Krasnodar Territory of Russia on the night of 6 February.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the strikes were effective: a hit was recorded, as well as explosions and a subsequent fire. The extent of the damage is currently being determined.
It is noted that this facility was used by Russian troops to store, prepare and launch attack drones «Shahed» for attacks on the territory of Ukraine. In addition, the airfield serviced aircraft that took part in hostilities in Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions.
«Strikes on the targets involved in supporting Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine and terrorising the civilian population will continue», the General Staff stressed.
Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defence announced the downing of 121 Ukrainian drones in 11 regions, including Moscow and occupied Crimea.
