Chernyshov: Ukrainians abroad will be offered jobs at defence enterprises with reservation

Oleksiy Chernyshov Photo: FacebookUkraine is ready to deploy reservation centres abroad to find Ukrainians willing to work at defence enterprises with reservations from potential mobilisation.
The Minister of National Unity of Ukraine Oleksii Chernyshov told Radio Liberty about this.
He clarified that for the citizens of Ukraine «this is an exclusively personal decision, and we welcome this decision». According to Oleksii Chernyshov, some industries need specialists «as much as air».
«That is why we are planning to deploy such centres that will help in finding vacancies in Ukraine and in the country of residence of Ukrainians. These job centres will be able to provide services and encourage people to choose a particular career path in Ukraine. I am sure that Ukrainian men are eager for this, they want to do good, if they are not ready to continue their path in the military, they can offer themselves as a specialist — and there is a certain mechanism for this, you just need to use it», he said.
As of December 2024, 7.7 million Ukrainian citizens are currently living abroad, of whom 5.3 million live in the European Union.
