This was stated by the Minister of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, Nataliia Kalmykova, reports Espresso.
«About a million people have the status of a participant in hostilities, and more than 100 thousand people have the status of a person with a disability,» she informed.
According to her, the Veterans Policy Strategy for the period until 2030 identifies three priority areas. In particular, the restoration of human capital and social well-being of veterans, respect and honoring their contribution, as well as defense capability.
«And now, in addition to this, regional military administrations are developing regional plans,» the minister added.
Earlier, the Minister of Digital Transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov, said that defenders will be able to register the status of a participant in hostilities on the Diia portal.
