The Mykolaiv utility company ELU Avtodorig reported on one hundred percent readiness for winter challenges on the roads.

This was reported in the Mykolaiv City Council.

It is noted that the vehicle fleet was fully prepared, the required amount of salt and sand-salt mixture was prepared, as well as staff duty schedules were drawn up. The company promises a timely and effective response to weather conditions.

«We prepared about 2.5 thousand tons of salt and sand-salt mixture. Usually this was 100% enough for us. If there is more snow in the winter, we will prepare the mixture, we have everything for this,» assured Vitalii Shevchenko, the director of ELU Avtodorig.

At the same time, the company complains about the lack of the required number of drivers. Most of them went to the ranks of the Armed Forces.

«Technically, we are 100% ready for winter, in terms of people — about 70%. I understand that this is our difficult task, but we will try to cope with it so as not to let the townspeople down,» said the director of the enterprise.
