In Mykolaiv city buses, it is now possible to pay the fare by bank card. At the moment, the terminals have been installed in five buses of KP Mykolaivpastrans.

This was reported in the press service of the Mykolaiv City Council.

As noted in the city hall, you can pay for travel with a card from any bank or with the help of PayPass.

«This issue has been brewing for a long time. We decided to install terminals in order to make our services more comfortable for passengers. Now the driver does not need to look for the rest, and the passenger does not need to wait for it. It's simple, fast and modern,» said Dmytro Teslenko, director of KP Mykolaivpastrans.

It is planned that in the near future all buses on city routes will be equipped with terminals so that every passenger can use a convenient payment method.

Earlier it was reported that the testing of the cashless payment system was planned to begin in municipal buses of Mykolaiv.

We would like to remind you that in December 2023, Mykolaiv electric transport began to operate a fare payment system based on a single QR code for customers of all Ukrainian banks. Later, this service was updated — now passengers have time to transfer.

During August, residents of Mykolaiv paid for 133,000 trips in the city's electric transport with the help of a single QR code.
