On Wednesday, October 2, fog will still be observed on the territory of Mykolaiv Oblast due to a dust storm, but it will be much less intense and will gradually subside.

As reported in the Mykolaiv Regional Center for Hydrometeorology, an atmospheric front is currently passing in the dust transport zone between the Caspian Sea and the territory of Ukraine.

«Dust with rain settles there, so the intensity of its movement towards us has temporarily decreased. However, the «portion» of dust that has already moved and is observed in the form of fog remains in the air, slowly settling,» the report says.

According to the Ministry of Health, the dust storm in Ukraine is likely to last until Friday, until the direction of the wind changes to the south and west.

We will remind that on September 30 , eastern winds brought a mixture of dust and smoke from the steppes of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan to the territory of the Mykolaiv region.
