A fire engine was handed over to the needs of the Pervomaisk settlement community of the Mykolaiv region, the funds for which were collected by the Swedish benefactors Lions Club Olofström.

This is stated in the story of the RADA TV channel.

In September 2022, the Russians targeted the Pervomaisk fire station and destroyed it. The rescuers were forced to temporarily move to a nearby village.

«They restored the station on their own. They traveled for ten days from the village of Mykhailo-Loryne. The broken slate, wooden lintels were completely removed. We were given film, doors, chipboard. «My guys repaired everything in 10 days,» says the head of the local fire department,» Olha Zhuk.

The rescuers of Pervomaisk received a fire truck from Sweden a few months ago, and another one now.

Along with the fire engine, equipment was handed over to the rescuers, and overalls and special shoes were delivered to the local utility workers. Medicines were also brought.
