Renovation of dormitory for internally displaced persons in Mykolaiv

In the Zavodskyi district of Mykolaiv, with the funds of the International Organization for Migration, a dormitory is being renovated, which will accommodate internally displaced persons.

This was reported in the press service of the Mykolaiv City Council.

«Our organization cooperates with Mykolaiv and restores many objects. We are preparing this hostel for internally displaced persons. Currently, windows have already been installed, bathrooms and kitchens are being restored, there will be special rooms,» said Nataliia Artamoshyna, a representative of the organization.

In addition, the organization has already purchased equipment for kitchens and sanitary rooms, including refrigerators, microwaves, washing machines and dryers.

It is planned to complete the repairs and settle the displaced people in the hostel at the end of March this year.

We will remind you that in the village of Shevchenkove, Mykolaiv Oblast , a place for temporary residence of IDPs is being built in the premises of the hospital, which was damaged as a result of a Russian airstrike.
