«Will we catch them as dogs?» the deputy of the Mykolaiv Regional Council reacted to Kim's statement about catching evaders

Oksana Kalyuzhna, a deputy of the Mykolaiv Regional Council, reacted negatively to the regional leadership's statement on the continuation of work on issuing subpoenas to evasions, comparing this process to catching dogs.

She expressed her opinion in a comment under a post on the Facebook page of the Mykolaiv lawyer Volodymyr Tymoshyn, writes NikVesti.

As you know, in a recent interview, the head of RMA Vitalii Kim, commenting on mobilization in the region, stated that Mykolaiv Oblast shows the best level in the country. At the same time, he added that the process continues and evaders will continue to be caught.

«We issued orders, certificates, all things that were incomplete, we completed them at the regional level. Mobile commissions will travel, check, and we will catch evaders. However, at the end of the month, Mykolaiv Oblast showed the best results in terms of mobilization. And for that I thank the people. We have fewer people, but the percentage that goes to the Armed Forces after the MPC is higher. I thank our men and women very much for this,» said Vitalii Kim.

The head of the RMA noted that in the process of catching evaders, one should be guided not by the statements of lawyers and legal experts, but by the situation at the front, which involves the rotation of soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

«We must ask what bloggers and lawyers think about this, but our guys, who have been sitting in the trench for a year and a half without a way out. And 99% of them say: «We warned you, let's take it from gyms, from skiing, from restaurants and bring it here.» And they are right, they have the right to talk about it. Therefore, I would not listen to the opinion of bloggers, lawyers, experts of motherhood. Mobilization is necessary, no one but us will defend our state,» said Vitalii Kim.

In response to this, the deputy noted that violent mobilization is illegal and violates the protection of human rights.

«Will we catch them as dogs? No one has any legal or moral right to violate the Constitution and human rights and freedoms,» Oksana Kaliuzhna said.
