₴4.4 million is going to be spent on the improvement of the «Alley of Glory» in Matviivka

In Mykolaiv, they plan to spend 4.4 million hryvnias on the improvement of the «Alley of Fame» at the cemetery in the Matviivka microdistrict.

This is evidenced by the data of the ProZorro public procurement system, «NikVesti» writes.

The municipal enterprise «Mykolaiv Ritual Service» is looking for a contractor who, for 4 million 408 thousand hryvnias, will equip paths and approaches with paving slabs and granite slabs. The works must be completed by December 20 of this year.

KP will choose the winner of the tender at the auction on November 3.

It should be noted that at the new cemetery in Matviivka, current repair of the road surface was to be carried out by September 1. The housing and communal services department of the Mykolaiv City Council spent 4 million 588 thousand hryvnias on this.

It was previously reported that special sectors for the honorable burials of fallen servicemen will be set up at three Mykolaiv cemeteries, namely:

• cemeteries of the Matviivka microdistrict on St. Verkhnia, 161;
• cemeteries in Korabelny district on St. Zhukova;
• Balabanovsky cemetery in Korabelnyy district.

It was also reported that in Mykolaiv, the families of fallen soldiers who decided to bury them in the military sector of the cemetery in Matviivka are planning to install the same type of tombstones with budget funds. In addition, compensation is offered for families who buried soldiers in other sections of the cemetery.

Also, 600,000 hryvnias will be allocated from the Mykolaiv budget to reimburse the costs of digging up the graves of dead soldiers who participated in the defense of Ukraine against Russian aggression.

It was previously reported that the city council is developing a plan to create a memorial sector for residents of Mykolaiv who died as a result of a full-scale war. One of the options under consideration is the arrangement of a columbarium.
