A medical centre will be opened in Odesa, funded by the budget of Mariupol. It will employ 28 medical workers who have left Donetsk region.
This was reported by the press service of the Odesa City Council.
It is noted that the city is home to a large Mariupol community for whom Odesa has become a second home.
Following a meeting between the mayors of Odesa and Mariupol, Hennadii Trukhanov and Vadym Boichenko, it was reported that at the first stage, the facility will provide primary healthcare and diagnostic services. In the future, rehabilitation programmes will be introduced.
Vadym Boichenko noted that similar medical centres have already been opened in Lviv, Dnipro, Kyiv and Rivne.
As a reminder, Mykolaiv handed over the first 20 «Kherson Card» to IDPs who were forced to leave their homes due to Russian aggression.
