In the Mykolayiv region, it is planned to repair two anti-radiation shelters for ₴8.8 million

The City Planning Department of the Mykolayiv Oblast has planned a major overhaul of two anti-radiation shelters in 2024. We are talking about the shelter in Nova Odesa and the urban-type village of Bratske of the Voznesensk district.

This is evidenced by the data of the ProZorro public procurement system, NikVesti writes.

In general, 8 million 831 thousand 600 hryvnias are planned to be spent on the capital repair of the PRU.

Yes, 4 million 80 thousand 100 hryvnias are planned for works in Nova Odesa. In Bratske, the customer is going to allocate 4 million 751 thousand 500 hryvnias for the repair of the shelter.

With these funds, the contractor, in addition to general construction works, must provide heating, water supply, sewerage, ventilation and provide access to the Internet. Also, the winner of the tender must install the equipment for free access to the shelter of the less mobile population groups.

Both shelters should be ready by December 31, 2024. The auctions are scheduled for January 3 next year.

We remind you that the reconstruction of the anti-radiation shelter in Bashtanka will cost more than 14 million hryvnias.

We should also note that 54 shelters are planned to be installed in preschools, schools and lyceums in Mykolaiv over the next few years.

It is worth noting that educational institutions in Mykolaiv continue to set up shelters for schoolchildren for the period of the start of offline education. Journalists were shown the condition and readiness of two such shelters in Mykolaiv Lyceum and Gymnasium. Also, on October 25, the city authorities showed how two new shelters were equipped with donor funds in one of the lyceums of the Ship district of Mykolaiv.

In addition, they promise to repair 23 shelters in residential buildings in Mykolaiv by the end of the year. Currently, specialists are performing work in two facilities on Tsentralnyi Avenue.

As you know, the Mykolaiv region has become one of the six regions of Ukraine with the worst shelter conditions. According to Vitalii Kim, the largest percentage of abandoned warehouses is in the regional center.

We will remind that in Mykolaiv, more than 70 million hryvnias were allocated from the city budget for the repair and equipping of shelters. However, the city budget of Mykolaiv will not receive funding from 102 million for the repair of protective structures in schools and kindergartens, which the Cabinet of Ministers has allocated for the Mykolaiv region.
