«Tymofii and Mark — these children were killed by Russia»: Zelenskyy appealed to the West after the attack on Odessa

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacted to the Russian attack on Odesa, as a result of which at least 7 people died. He stated that at the same time as the deaths of people, the «internal political games» of the partners continue, which prevent the strengthening of the defense of Ukraine, and this is «impossible to understand».

The head of state said this in his evening address.

«The rescue operation continued all day in Odesa at the site where the Russian Shahhed was hit. Currently, the State Emergency Service, the police and other services continue to work — there is information about people under the rubble. As of this time, seven people are known to have died, including two children. My condolences to all relatives and friends. Eight people were injured, including a three-year-old child and a girl,» Zelenskyy said.

The President noted that all those who were injured are being provided with the necessary assistance. He also urged Western partners not to delay the transfer of weapons to Ukraine, because the number of children killed by Russian aggression is increasing every day.
