Today, 24 October, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with King Charles III of Great Britain for the third time in 2025.

According to the BBC, the head of the Ukrainian state was greeted with a royal salute. When Volodymyr Zelenskyy entered the castle courtyard, the Ukrainian anthem was played. After that, the president was invited to inspect the 1st Battalion of the Grenadier Guards and then escorted to the castle for talks.

According to the newspaper, after meeting with the monarch, Zelenskyy will go to Downing Street, where he will have a private conversation with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer. In addition, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte will join them in London for talks, and French President Emmanuel Macron will join the meeting in a virtual format.

In the afternoon, a meeting of the «Coalition of the Willing» is scheduled to take place in London in a hybrid format. The meeting is expected to discuss the course of the war in Ukraine, increasing pressure on Russia and the consequences of recent massive strikes on Ukraine's energy infrastructure.

It should be noted that the «Coalition of the Willing» is an international association of European states and the United States created to support Ukraine in its war against Russia. The initiative was founded by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer on 2 March 2025. Its goal is to increase assistance to Ukraine, promote a peaceful settlement and consider the deployment of international security forces.

Earlier it was reported that the UK had sent more than 85,000 drones to Ukraine in six months.
