Svyrydenko may head new government as early as July

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Yuliia Svyrydenko may become the new head of the Cabinet of Ministers next month.

This was reported by Yaroslav Zhelezniak, a member of the «Holos» faction.

According to journalists of «Ukrayinska Pravda», Yuliia Svyrydenko plans to form her own team and bring at least three people close to her to the government:

• Nataliia Aliushyna, the current head of the National Agency for Civil Service, may become a minister of the Cabinet of Ministers;
• Konstantin Marievych, the first deputy state secretary of the Cabinet of Ministers, is also being considered for the same position;
• Svyrydenko wants to appoint his deputy Oleksii Sobolev as Minister of Economy;
• The potential prime minister may appoint her other deputy, Tetiana Berezhna, as the Minister of Social Policy.

The vote for the new prime ministerial candidate in the Verkhovna Rada may take place as early as 15 July.

As a reminder, the Ministry of National Unity, headed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Unity Oleksii Chernyshov, may be liquidated.
