President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he expects a full report on the circumstances and consequences of Russia's missile strike on a training ground in southern Ukraine, which killed and wounded Ukrainian soldiers.

He said this in an address on the evening of 22 June.

«I am also waiting for a full report on the consequences and all the circumstances of the Russian missile strike on the training ground in southern Ukraine. This strike today is not the first of its kind, unfortunately. Unfortunately, there are losses, there are wounded. We need full responsibility,» Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

The Head of State also informed about his conversations with Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi. In particular, they discussed the use of drones by the National Guard and the need to intensify the fight against Russian reconnaissance drones.

As you know, on 22 June, the Russian army attacked a training ground of one of the mechanised brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Mykolaiv region with missiles. At the time of the attack, the training ground was in the middle of a military exercise, and 14 people were injured.

A special commission has been set up to investigate the circumstances, and law enforcement agencies are also working. The Ukrainian Armed Forces said that additional measures were being taken to strengthen security at the training grounds.
