According to Volodymyr Zelenskyy, each new attack confirms that Moscow is prolonging the war. He reminded that Ukraine had proposed both a complete ceasefire and restrictions on air attacks.
The President emphasised that it was necessary to increase pressure on Russia to get the diplomatic process finally underway.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy also noted that Ukraine expects new sanctions steps from the United States, the European Union and other partners.
Recently, Volodymyr Zelenskyy has already emphasised that Russia has not yet demonstrated its readiness to end the war, so it is necessary to increase pressure.
He also stated that Ukraine is not afraid of direct talks with Russia and is ready for a meeting at the level of leaders to address key issues. He stressed that Russia should not prolong the war.
