The process of reorganising the Cultural and Gaming Complex «Children's Town «Kazka», which began in 2022, is nearing completion in Mykolaiv. Members of the city council are preparing to approve the transfer deed and a new version of the charter of the Mykolaiv City Palace of Culture and Special Events, which is being joined by «Kazka».
The relevant draft decision is published on the official website of the city council, according to NikVesti.
According to the document, the Palace of Solemn Events will become the legal successor to all property and liability rights of «Kazka». This means the transfer of all assets, premises, documentation and functions.
The charter of the updated institution includes a new line of business — «Organisation of other types of recreation and entertainment» (NACE 93.29). It is planned to develop theatre studios, clubs, hold festivals, exhibitions, quests, concerts, and create museum and cultural initiatives. The institution will be able to have representative offices and branches.
After the merger, the Palace of Ceremonial Events will operate at three locations: in a building at 44 Spaska Street («Public Library of 1894»), 58 Shevchenka Street («Residential building of 1840»), and 38-A Zakhysnykiv Mykolaieva Street — the territory of «Kazka».
After the city council votes, the changes will be entered into the state register, and the new charter will come into force. The reorganisation is being carried out by a special commission consisting of employees of the Department of Culture and both institutions.
