Zelenskyy: had a good meeting with Trump, which could be historic

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy called a «good» meeting with US President Donald Trump on Saturday, 27 April.

Zelenskyy said this on his Telegram channel.

«It was a good meeting. We managed to discuss a lot one-on-one. We hope for a result from all the things that were said. Protecting the lives of our people. A complete and unconditional ceasefire. A reliable and lasting peace that will prevent the recurrence of war. A very symbolic meeting that has the potential to become historic if we achieve common results. Thank you, President Donald Trump!», Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

Earlier it was reported that the Vatican broke protocol during the farewell ceremony to the Pope to ensure that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a seat in the front row along with the American and French leaders.
