Zelenskyy flies to Rome to say goodbye to Pope

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has arrived in Rome to take part in the farewell ceremony for Pope Francis.
Ukrainian media reported this with reference to presidential spokesman Serhii Nikiforov.
The President is accompanied by First Lady Olena Zelenska and representatives of the Ukrainian delegation.
«The President of Ukraine has arrived in Rome. Volodymyr Zelenskyy, First Lady Olena Zelenska and the Ukrainian delegation will take part in the farewell ceremony with Pope Francis,» said Serhii Nikiforov.
It should be noted that American leader Donald Trump arrived in Rome in the morning. He said that today «is a good day for conversations and meetings with Russia and Ukraine».
As a reminder, Pope Francis died on the morning of Monday, 21 April, at his residence in St Martha's House in the Vatican at the age of 88.
Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on the news of Pope Francis' death, stressing that he had been praying for peace in Ukraine.
Some media outlets also reported that the cause of Pope Francis' death could have been a stroke.
