President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed laws extending martial law and general mobilisation from 9 May to 6 August 2025.
The relevant laws have been published on the website of the Verkhovna Rada.
The President submitted bills to the Verkhovna Rada to extend martial law and general mobilisation in Ukraine on 15 April, and on 16 April, the Parliament voted in favour of the relevant bills.
This is the 15th time martial law and mobilisation have been extended in Ukraine since the start of the full-scale invasion.
As a reminder, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy believes that elections in Ukraine are very important, but they can only be held after the hot phase of the war is over and martial law is lifted.
