Yermak, Sybiha and Umierov arrive in Paris for talks with the US

On Thursday, 17 April, Chief of Staff to the President of Ukraine Andrii Yermak, Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha and Defence Minister Rustem Umierov arrived in Paris for talks with US representatives.

Andrii Yermak announced this on his Telegram channel.

He noted that the visit will include bilateral and multilateral meetings with representatives of the countries of the coalition willing and able to guarantee security, including France, Germany and the United Kingdom.

In addition, meetings are planned with representatives of the United States, who are currently in France.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine added that the Ukrainian delegation arrived in Paris for consultations on sustainable peace and security.

«As part of the visit, the delegation is scheduled to participate in a series of bilateral and multilateral meetings with representatives of the states of the «Coalition of the Willing». The meetings will continue consultations on achieving sustainable peace in Ukraine, in particular, the parties will discuss ways to achieve a complete ceasefire, the involvement of a multinational military contingent to ensure sustainable peace, further development of Ukraine's security architecture and ensuring the security of our country», the statement said.

As a reminder, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and President Donald Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff will also arrive in Paris to hold talks with the French leadership. Among the main topics is the possibility of ending the war in Ukraine.
