«It's time to stop this senseless war»: Trump also comments on phone call with Zelenskyy

US President Donald Trump also commented on his phone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

«I just spoke with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The conversation went very well. He, like President Putin, wants peace. We discussed various topics related to the war, but mainly the meeting that is scheduled for Friday in Munich, where Vice President J.D. Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio will lead a delegation. I hope that the results of this meeting will be positive».

He added that «it is time to stop this senseless war»:

«It is time to stop this senseless war, where there has been massive and completely unnecessary death and destruction. May God bless the people of Russia and Ukraine».

As a reminder, today US President Donald Trump had a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin. In particular, they discussed Ukraine and the Middle East, and agreed that the war must be stopped. Later, Donald Trump spoke on the phone with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

As a reminder, the United States of America is engaged in constructive negotiations on a full-scale war with Ukraine and the Russian Federation.

Earlier, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he was ready to sit down with Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin for peace, despite his hostile attitude.
