President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that in potential talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, he will offer him to exchange the territories of the Kursk region under the control of the Ukrainian military for the occupied territories of Ukraine.
He said this in an interview with the Guardian.
However, the president did not explain which territories Ukraine would demand to return, but assured that «all our territories are important, there is no priority».
He also reiterated that he is ready for negotiations, but wants Ukraine to be able to negotiate from a «position of strength». American companies willing to invest in Ukraine's recovery will receive lucrative contracts and investment concessions.
«Those who help us save Ukraine will have the opportunity to rebuild it together with their businesses and Ukrainian businesses. We are ready to discuss all these issues in detail at», Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
As a reminder, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed his belief that US leader Donald Trump currently has no «official plan» to end the war between Ukraine and Russia.
At the same time, the United States is already negotiating a full-scale war with Ukraine and the Russian Federation.
Earlier, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he was ready to sit down with Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin for peace, despite his hostile attitude.
However, Russian President Vladimir Putin noted that he was ready to «allocate people»to negotiate with Ukraine to end the war and called any such talks «illegitimate».
Later, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that there is now every opportunity to end the war in 2025 and that US President Donald Trump also wants this.
