Meeting with EBRD representatives, photo: Deputy Head of the Office of the President Oleksii KulebaThe Office of the President is looking for a «form of cooperation» with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, so that they will provide funds for the construction of a new water main for Mykolaiv.
This was announced by the deputy head of the President's Office, Oleksii Kuleba, following a meeting with EBRD representatives.
«He separately drew the attention of partners to the need to rebuild the water supply infrastructure between New Odesa and Mykolaiv. We are looking for a form of cooperation so that every inhabitant of the region has clean water in their taps,» said Oleksii Kuleba.
Among other things, he added, the parties discussed two more areas of cooperation: updating the fleet of electric trains and restoring the postal network.
«It is especially important to finance the development of cogeneration in communities and the construction of gas power plants in different regions of Ukraine. I am grateful to colleagues from the EBRD for their willingness to help rebuild Europe in Ukraine,» he added.
