Sienkevych was told that a park could be built instead of the abandoned house on Shneierson Street: «If the owners don't put the area in order»

A park area can be built on the site of an abandoned building on Shneierson Street in the center of Mykolaiv. This will happen if the owner of the building does not bring its territory to order.

This was reported by the first deputy mayor Vitalii Lukov in a comment to the correspondent of NikVesti.

«On Shneierson Street, on behalf of the mayor, work is being done with the owners of this plot. This is a long procedure — not a month, but our legal department is working on it. But there will probably be court decisions. Shneerson will be, let's say, our pilot project,» said Vitalii Lukov.

He also added that the legislation defines a certain list of objects that can be placed on the sites of abandoned buildings. For example, says the deputy mayor, these are kindergartens, playgrounds and infrastructure facilities, such as bridges and traffic interchanges.

«We have a certain list defined by legislation. It. It is clear that on Shneierson Street we can see only a green park area. That is, if the owners do not bring order to this territory, then the procedure of redemption for public needs will be launched. According to the procedure, it is months, if not years. Very few communities go for it,» said Vitalii Lukov.

Earlier it was reported that abandoned buildings in Mykolaiv will be purchased. Kindergartens, parks, and road junctions will be built instead, First Deputy Mayor Vitalii Lukov said. At the same time, he mentioned an abandoned house on Shneierson Street in the center of Mykolaiv.

We remind you that in Mykolaiv, a commission was created to search for, survey and take into account ownerless real estate on the territory of the city. At the same time, the commission will consider issues related to the preparation of applications to the court about the transfer of this property to the communal ownership of Mykolaiv. The first deputy mayor of Mykolaiv Vitalii Lukov headed the commission.
