On December 15, the Mykolaiv Regional Museum of Local Lore «Old Fleet Barracks» celebrated its 110th anniversary.
In honor of such an event, the museum staff organized a festive program, the correspondent of NikVesti reports.
The audience was shown a virtual tour of the institution, during which the history of the local history museum from the day of its foundation to the present was told.
«In 1913, the museum was opened. To date, he has experienced a lot, both revolutions and wars. But the museum lives, works, breathes and inspires,» said Yurii Hranaturov, deputy head of Mykolayiv RMA, in his welcoming speech.
Invited artists also performed at the celebration, and museum employees were awarded certificates of appreciation and thanks.
