This was announced on Facebook by Yevhen Korolkov, one of the project’s initiators under the participatory budgeting scheme.
He posted a video showing the condition of the skatepark before and after the renovation. In particular, the structures for performing tricks have been updated. The ramps, ramps and platforms used by skaters have also been restored to good condition. The work has restored the functionality of the site and made it safer for users.

At the time, nearly one million hryvnias were allocated for its development. The site is designed for cycling, skateboarding and rollerblading, and also features ramps for tricks. No major repairs had been carried out there since its opening.
In a comment to NikVesti, Ihor Holovatyi, director of the municipal enterprise DEZ «Pilot», reported that repairs were scheduled for May. This was because, due to the specific nature of the materials, work could not begin until the warmer weather arrived.
The skate park is managed by the municipal enterprise DEZ «Pilot». The skate park has been in a state of disrepair for several years. The city did not have the funds for a major refurbishment, but there were plans to renovate the facilities.
