A resident of Mykolaiv Oblast will be tried for attempted murder. Illustrative photo from open sourcesA resident of the village of Pervomaiske, Mykolaiv district, will be tried on charges of attempted murder of two of his fellow villagers, as well as possession of ammunition without a permit.
This was reported in the Mykolaiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.
According to the investigation, in March 2024, the accused, being intoxicated, entered into a conflict with his fellow villager, after which he entered his house and threw a grenade. At that time, in addition to the owner, there was one more person in the house.
As a result of the explosion, the victims received bodily injuries, one of them seriously.
The accused is liable to imprisonment for up to 15 years.
Earlier in Mykolaiv, the police detained a man for illegal handling of a grenade. Bullets were also found at the man's home.
