In the Kherson Region, a man riding a tractor hit a landmine left by the Russian army and died.

Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of Kherson RMA, announced this.

«While performing field work near the village of Topolyne, the tractor driver ran into an explosive object. As a result of the detonation, the equipment caught fire. While extinguishing the fire, the rescuers discovered the body of a dead 50-year-old man,» the message reads.

Oleksandr Prokudin emphasized that about 60% of Kherson fields are potentially mined. «It is safe to work only on those lands that have been surveyed by sappers».

We will remind, on March 17, a 50-year-old tractor driver was blown up by an enemy anti-personnel mine in the village of Kyselivka, Mykolaiv district. The peasant came to prepare the land for sowing, but instead received landmine-explosive injuries of varying degrees of severity.
