During the day, from May 5 to 6, the enemy shelled the territory of the Mykolaiv region three times. Two territorial communities — Ochakiv and Kutsurub — came under artillery shelling.

There were no casualties, the head of Mykolayiv RMA Vitalii Kim reported.

It is noted that yesterday, May 5, at 08:26, the enemy directed a kamikaze drone of the «Lancet» type over the territory of the Kutsurub community.

Also, on May 5, at 6:03 p.m., the enemy fired artillery at the water area of the Ochakiv community. There are no casualties.

In addition, tonight, at 01:00, the enemy launched artillery fire on the territory of the Kutsurub community.

At night, Russian troops attacked the city of Mykolaiv with an unmanned aerial vehicle, as a result of which the hotel building was damaged. A hotel complex in Mykolaiv was hit by three Shahed-131/136 type drones.

In addition, the building of the children's sports school was also damaged.

The mass media reported that during the attack, people managed to hide in the shelter of the hotel. But later, a volunteer of the public association Rebel Volunteers and entrepreneur Dmytro Voloshchenko, some of the guests of the damaged hotel did not have time to hide in the basement and miraculously managed to escape.
