A student of Moscow State University was sentenced to ten days in prison for naming his Wi-Fi network with the pro-Ukrainian slogan «Slava Ukraine».

This is reported by Ukrainian Pravda.

It should be noted that the Moscow District Court declared that the student «committed an administrative offense and publicly demonstrated the paraphernalia of extremist organizations».

According to the publication, local policemen drew attention to the name of the boy's network, after which the student was taken into custody, and his room was searched. A personal computer, a laptop and a Wi-Fi router were confiscated.

«The court documents claim that the student used his Wi-Fi network for the purpose of propagating the slogan «Glory to Ukraine» to an unlimited number of users within the Wi-Fi access signal of the ideology of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists,» the message reads.

It should be noted that in Russia it was forbidden to publicly demonstrate the symbols and paraphernalia of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists, as well as to use the slogan «Glory to Ukraine» and the response to it — «Glory to Heroes».

We will remind, measures are being taken in the Russian Federation to ensure the next wave of mobilization. Currently, opportunities for mass mobilization of students of higher educational institutions are being actively increased.
